Growing up in apartheid South Africa and spending her early career at the forefront of a changing, free society gave Michele a unique perspective on the world. Under the new South African government, she worked on voter education with the Independent Electoral Commission, the 1999 African National Congress election campaign, the National Treasury, the Department of Health, the Department of Public Works and with Madiba himself on behalf of his children’s charities. Throughout this time, she navigated challenging social issues and took her agency into 14 countries across the African continent.
Michele brings this global perspective to a storied career in the U.S. As an industry leader, she has been at the forefront of some of the most talked about campaigns in the advertising industry and worked with some of the most iconic brands of the 21st century, including Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Vodafone, British Airways and others.
